This 100% organic toasted whole almond puree is a delicious recipe rich in unsaturated fatty acids, vitamins E and B2, magnesium, phosphorus and calcium. It is ideal for any type of diet and can be used almost anywhere. Depending on the quantity put in the preparation, the almond taste will be more or less pronounced.

As you probably know, September and October are two months when apples are harvested. It is therefore preferable to consume this fruit during this period in order to be sure to be able to find as much taste and nutrients as possible. The prices are lower as the supply is greater so we can afford to buy them organic to avoid any potentially harmful treatment for the body. Well, I must admit that the best thing is to go and pick some directly from the apple tree in the garden, but not everyone is so lucky …

To make my compote even more nutritious, I added a good dose of toasted almond puree and you can also remove the sugar from the recipe for an even healthier version.

Wash, peel and halve the apples, then remove the core with the seeds.

Cut into more or less equal cubes so that the cooking is as homogeneous as possible.

Place the apple cubes in a small saucepan with the lemon juice, water, vanilla extract and sugar.

Cover and cook over low heat for 10-15 minutes.

The compote is ready when the apples break when stirring.

Mix using a hand blender until a smooth texture is obtained.
